APC J15 Battery

Does anyone with an APC J15 UPS know what the battery setup is inside the RBC107? I was searching for info on how many batteries, what voltages, etc. and I find nothing. Thx

Check the APC website (now Schneider Electric, I think). Every consumer APC I have seen uses a single battery, including the big server beasts that allow multiple stack of batteries (by adding additional boxes). I think they have all been 12V but on that I am less sure...

Thanks for the reply. What I do know is that the RBC107 is a plastic enclosure specific to the J15. My APC SU14002URM unit uses 4 SLA 12v 8AH batteries that are easy to replace and buy online...I am hoping the RBC107 is similar in that the plastic enclosure is hiding multiple individual batteries that I can buy online...I just don't know what and how many are in that plastic case. Here is what the RBC107 enclosure looks like:

I know this thread is old and you probably have already made your purchases. But here is the answer to your question. The RBC 107 enclosure houses two CSB HR 1234W F2 (12V, 9.0 Ah with a 108 Whr rating). They can be purchased online for significantly less than what the RBC 107 housing can be purchased for. Also it is worth noting that half of the enclosure is a Styrofoam block. The enclosure could four of these batteries.
