I cannot believe it...what am I missing?????? - Page 2

There are companies which make custom face plates in addition to rack-mount modifications. I suspect they'd be willing to provide a silver front for whatever equipment you want. For a price. smile.gif

Middle Atlantic Racks is one I've seen mentioned, although I'm having some problems locating their Web site.

Chris,

Thanks! Although I don't seem to be able to find any mention of custom faceplates, their "furniture racks" certainly are drool-worthy wink.gif

edit: and yup, they sure do make some purty stuff, in addition to their more "utilitarian" models... smile.gif

If you can loose the HDMI switching option, a used Parasound Halo C1 is very close to the requirements you want (and then some). THX Ultra2 certified and such, SILVER.

You could always get a remote controled HDMI switch and semi hide it. Just a thought

Rotel RSX-1550 (if you could find a used one).

No HDMI 1.4 support, which the OP wants for 3D.

As best I can tell, the items on that page are rackmounting ears or surrounds, not actually replacements for entire faceplates.

I can kinda sympathize with the OP. I like to have my equipment somewhat match up so it looks like its one complete unit. Mine's all black, so a silver unit would look weird.

Could be worse. I have OCD about the silk screened logos on my equipment. That's right, the LOGOS. frown.giftongue.gif

Incorrect. HDMI 1.4 support since October of 2011.

Based on the emoticons posted, the comment was left in jest. Like you, I understand and sympathize with the need to satisfy one's aesthetics and my wife won't let me forget it.
