Hi guys I've been using one of those USB hybrid sticks to record my local channels on HD and basic cable in SD on my 2011 mac mini, but I have since gotten interested in El Gato HD device that will allow me to record the content from my HD channels using my cable box, however I have a question regarding the way the device works.
I know it comes with an IR blaster and that it can only record one show at the time, but what if I have the el gato HD recoding one show and I decide I wann continue watching using the cable box as usual, will it also change the channel on the el gato device while it's recording?
