I was dead set on getting the epson, until I saw the Mitsubishi 6800 refurbished for 850$! The projector is going in a dedicated theater room with total light control. I can place it anywhere. I would like to use a 1.1 gain 120-125" elite screen. My main concern is image quality. However I am on a budget so the 300 dollar difference makes the mits look very attractive. What is the better of the two? If I go with the mits would I be disappointed? I have never had a projector as this is my first. Is the epson worth the extra money? Anyhelp in making this descicion would be appreciated.

You have compared the 6800 and 3800 and feel it's it's that much better? Looks like the price difference is only $150 and I'm getting ready to make a purchase.post #4 of 68/27/12 at 4:56pmpost #6 of 68/29/12 at 1:03pm- chirpie
