I kinda like the idea of the Pioneer bookshelves with one of these for right around $200 total:

While the Cambridge S30 is still my favorite - I am really impressed with the new
Pioneer bookshelf speaker. They cut a couple of corners - however, not with the
drivers and crossover > a nice job here, and that little woofer is good.

We use the Polk T15 from BB in our kids rooms, garage and also have them hidden in our kitchen and bathroom its a good little speaker for the money. Go listen to it you will be surprised.
