God of War III and Halo 4 are not in 3D?!

Halo 4:

I will admit now that 3D will forever be a niche product (the take rate on 3D displays, delivery devices, and content has been pathetic so far and all three will experience declining offerings) and we will see 3D fade (but not disappear) within the next 3 years at the box office.

Disappointing but hardly unexpected.

Halo 4 is using a new engine that pushes the 7 year old hardware to its limits; adding true stereoscopic 3D would have probably led to really low res graphics and using reprojection would have just been a waste of time. Adding 3D to Halo Anniversary probably wasn't all that hard since they were still basically using the old Xbox engine designed for last gen hardware with a layer of wallpaper on top of it.

The God of War Collection is really just a repackaging of existing games and its obvious that its more of a marketing ploy by Sony to milk a few more bucks out of those games before the next GoW game is released than an attempt at enhancing those games in any way as there is no new content at all within the games (Ditto for the Infamous collection).

It must blow your mind that the next God of War game (Ascension) will support 3D...

Or these Sony-published games coming in the next 3 months...

LittleBigPlanet Karting
Ratchet and Clank Full Frontal Assault
Ratchet and Clank HD Collection
Sports Champions 2
Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time
Zen Pinball 2
Warrior's Lair
Playstation All Stars Battle Royale

But oh yeah, 3D's dying, yada yada..

^Do not believe this propaganda lie. The next God of War will not be in 3D nor Technicolor.

Furthermore, Sony, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, et. al. will soon be issuing recalls on all 3D products. They released a joint video statement:

Want further evidence? Look at where we are in the site redesign. We're below Theater Builder and Gaming. THEATER BUILDER AND GAMING?!!!11 One can fall any further.

I couldn't understand a word of that video but you've convinced me lol (that you're being facetious and I fell for it)

Demonstrably false. 3D is still more important that A/V Control and Automation, and quite a bit more than Other Areas of Interest. Once 3D is a subforum in Other Areas of Interest, then we'll know it's hit rock bottom.

Personally, I'd like to see more complaints about ticket surcharges and glasses.

Someone say "gimmick."

As Wesley said, "as you wish."

I really don't the 3D surcharge. They need to charge MORE than the $5-$10 they're charging now. Further, we must be made to wear TWO pairs of glasses because 3D is so four months ago; I want to see 4D.

4D is a fad.

But if you get a 4D TV, wouldn't that make everything 4D? Eww, I wouldn't like that.
