Sharp vs Panasonic and Samsung

I am looking for an LCD 65" or larger. I like the large 70" and 80" Sharp LCD's but is the image quality as good as say either Samsumg or Panasonic.

For fairness sake, comparing 65" in all three brands, is Sharp as good as the other two?

In terms of blu-ray DVD standards, regular non-HD directv quality and Directv HD content.

The general consensus is the Sharp has a slighly less good quality than the top LCDs of Samsung or Sony. However, Sharp biggest strength is their sizes. A 80" is a monster compared to a 65", and it can compensate for the slightly less picture quality for some people.
