Help hooking a buttkicker to a Marantz Sr6006

Hey guys,

Lurking on these forums helped me decide on gear for my first HT system, but now I need help getting it together.

I have a pair of speakers attached to my Marantz SR6006 (bi-amped) in stereo.

I want to add my buttkicker without losing any sound quality from the speakers. When i add a subwoofer in the amp menu, it alters the sound (I think from full-range to 'Large') I don't have a subwoofer attached, just the buttkicker and the two floor standers.

Anyway, as I said I'm new to this and would love some direction on how to get this buttkicker working from my receiver without affecting the sound from my floorstanders. The buttkicker is attached to a gaming seat so sound is coming from a PS3 connected via HDMI to the SR6006.

If I left anything out let me know and thanks in advance for the help. If this thread is in the wrong place, feel free to move it.

So is there no real way of doing it without losing the full sound of the speakers?

Also, what kind of cable should I be using for this? Will any cheap cable do because it is just being used for the buttkicker or does the quality matter?

Ok cool I can see how that would work, I can't find a single cable to do it however, so would it be as easy as plugging one of these into the FL/FR pre-out on the marantz and then plugging this into the buttkicker amp?

On second thought, that will just give me either left or right sound which isn't great when playing games. Is there something I can put between the FL/FR out and the buttkicker amp that will reproduce all low freq. rather than just the left or right channel?
