I need advice

I live in a detach house with walk out basement,i have a Klipsch sound system Synergy and on this last weekend my neighbor came to us complaining the noise is bother him. When i ask him he was saying it's the base and this could be my subwoofer. Can somebody help with some advice what i need to do not to have this issue. By the way my neighbor is a cop and i really want to have this issue gone. I never went to his house to hear but when he came to us was like 10.30pm Saturday night.
Please guys i need some advice and help from you.

Is it the Klipsch Synergy Subwoofer??? Is it EQ'd? How hot do you run your sub?

A few things to try: 1. move the sub to a near field position (within 4 feet of the listening position) maybe even use it as an end table, 2. EQ your system with whatever type of EQ you have Audyssey, MCCAC, or YPAO, and 3. put it on an isolation riser platform. Buy an Auralex Gramma or make one yourself.
