Is this possible with a soundbar? (Passive soundbar center channel mounted to TV on swivel mount)

I am in the market for a new TV and smaller speaker setup and I would also like to mount the TV on the wall with a swivel-arm mount and get the center channel off of the cabinet as well. I would like to attach a soundbar underneath the TV so that the center channel will always be facing the viewer straight on. I plan on putting some bookshelves as front left and right speakers with a small 8" or 10" sub and some satellites as surround sound speakers in the rear. I have an Onkyo TX-SR506 to power it all from my last setup. Am I looking at the right product in a soundbar or are these typically suited to take care of the front 3.1 of the system? Would it be possible to mount the soundbar on the TV or do they typically mount on the wall?

Thanks in advance!

After looking at my options some more, I think I'm going to scrap the center/bookshelf idea and go with a sound bar mounted below my TV. I am looking at the Dayton BS36 and the Dayton 10" sub to go along with it. I'll likely put some satellites in the rear. Does anyone have any opinions on this combo? Can I do better for a couple hundred more? I can get the combo for around 300.
Also, do you have any links to a good swivel stand setup that holds a sound bar that isn't super expensive? I have only seen one made by peerless.
