The thread title kind of speaks for itself. I am looking for advice and pro's/con's between the two. Any and help is appreciated. Thanks.

The nod goes to the 509 which uses Audyssey 2EQ auto speaker calibration while the 414 has no such feature.

Yeah, the Audyssey 2EQ speaker cal. is the main thing I see that separates the two.
And it seems like the 509 has a prettier front panel display..lol
