Ok, I'm a little freaked out right now... Here's where I'm at...
Put 1st 2 pillows inside...
Put the next 2 pillows inside...
Now the good!!!!
Played test tones (free air - kids still sleeping 5HZ, 10HZ, 15HZ and 20HZ) 1st sub passed with flying colors. no noise nothing (Very quiet!)
I gradually increase the sound till the cone moves...
Then put weather stripping all around the baffle and installed 1st sub...
All is good till I get to the 2nd sub
Played test tones like the 1st sub...always free air
Gong up in volume and said WTF is that knocking noise? 1st sub did not do that!!!
So I put the weather stripping and screw in the sub (Wow WTF is this now? Screws are now going straight through?
Holes are much bigger on the 2nd sub!!! Have to put washers???
I am a little shocked about this at this moment...can't wait to try the 3rd sub now.
OK, now doing the same procedure with the 3rd sub.
Play test tones and lo and behold is that sound again...knocking!
Now am discouraged. 2 of 3 subs are knocking!
I had received an email from Mark last week saying that 1 of the subs failed QC! These past?
So anyways...put in the weather stripping and screwed the sub into the cab (this time without washers cause the holes are the correct size.)
My question is what do I do now that 2 of the 3 subs are knocking? I'm a little freaked out about this!
Am I screwed with this?
I can't wait to play test tones with the subs in their cabs but have to wait till around 11:00am
