Alas no. There are physical transport standards such as IR, RS-232, TCP/IP, 802.11.15, and Bluetooth, however, the top level protocols are manufacturer dependent, and even device independent in-between devices from the same manufacturer.
The closest thing to a standard is CEC over HDMI, but even that became manufacturer specific because the HDMI folks allowed for vendor specific commands, thus breaking true interoperability. There is also the Zigbee standard for 2 way wireless remote control, RF4CE ( now called Zigbee Remote ) but it's adoption rate seems to be virtually non existent, despite being around for a few years.
The most universal interface is still IR.
