Sony HMZ-T2 Personal 3D Viewer HMD Dedicated Thread - Page 7

Did they tell you when it's supposed to arrive? I've been keeping my eye on the Sony Aust website and it's still not listed there. And any reason why it's such an odd price ($1,034 instead of, say, $999)?
I am a die-hard SONY fan and even I can tell you alot of their products have quirks that boggle the mind.

Also being such a small mass, 22million people we don't always feature 100% of what SONY makes.

As for release date, mid November, maybe 3 weeks from now.

I seriously can't wait to see the colour pop of Alice in Wonderland BD!
I also have numerous PS3 3D games to try, MS: Apocalypse and Tumble (Move) to name a few.

If I buy the foreign T2, can I change the language to english?
I sold one T2 on my site, I just got another in stock I had pre-ordered and that will be the last one I can sell.

It's posted on my website now forsale.

Seems if you don't pre-order they are near impossible to get. I contacted numerous stores here in Japan and they are sold out.

If you really want one remember mine comes with my cushion pads, light blocker and a few of my movies also. A pretty good deal for ya.
Once it's sold that will be all I can get my hands on I think.

Please don't get beats -_-" They are a poor movie type headphone. In my opinion they are poor in general but thats from my listening time.
For movies I use a pair of SONY ZX700s they aren't sweetened in the highs or the lows so things sound more real and detailed. vocal ranges are a little more forward which helps to hear what they say xD

The Sony earphones that are included in the T2 are pretty good. Give them a try before replacing them.

Yea, the headphones included are pretty nice

Is it a real short cable on the headphones, limited from other types of use?
My ears always ache after a short time with in ear models, I won't be using them.

can anyone recommend open ear 'bud' type headphones - with same quality sound as SONY ZX700s - in India we have seasons with temp dropping and shooting up so close-ear type are difficult to wear for me - any recommendations for open type 'bud' earphones same quality as sony zx700s please ?

Its the pressure build up in the canal that gets me.
^ Just try the pack in buds.

I watched The Amazing Spider-Man last night on my T2 and WOW!! eek.gif Using the T2 I felt like I was there, when the camera looked up at New York buildings I felt like I was on the ground actually looking up myself. Had great depth. I used my Denon AH-D510 headphones and cranked it up loud. The 3D and experience was much better than viewing on my 55" LG

No loss of lumen, no color shift and no flicker. Of course the 3D experience is much better than any TV out there at the moment.smile.gif

When mine comes I may have to find a copy of Disney's Tangled 3D.
Only have the 2D, but adore this movie.

As much as I like the 3D experience on T2, I am more impress with its 2D performance. It has inky blacks, accurate colors (after adjustment) and no distracting black bars.

0.0 Wow, no black bars...
Also the screen brightness won't be reflecting off things in your house ruining the lighting.

I still have one HMZ-T2 left, if someone wants it contact me asap or it gets sold on a Japan auction soon!
HMZ-T2 has to have better optics than it's previous model[T1] else why 'd they be asking a huge price !
i wanted that they added VGA support for legacy systems in T2 - just like most nettops that have VGA,DVI and HDMI support , even the led tv have VGA,DVI,AV-in and HDMI inputs - whay cannot the T2 have those
Surely increase in price is not justified as they only removed components to make it lighter than T1 - still legacy input - VGA support leaves me to skip this and wait for T3 mad.gif
Though VGA-to-HDMI converters are there but they redesign the signal and are not perfect and i do not want to upgrade my laptop just to make it compatible with T2!
Seems im getting my t2 to morr ... Gnna be fun 2 try it out and se if the adjustments, weight and optics are an improvment.
Only got one 3d movie left sammys turtle but thats the best one for testing 3d.

bought to pairs of sonys wireless 7.1 headphones system and i got the tiny Panasonic 3dbd player with that touch remote of the ease of usage, when you got the sony on its hard to se any buttons on a remote just swipe its more easy.cool.gif
post #208 of 1014
