Hello All, I'm new to this site and need some help. I just got my hands a 1974 Sansui QRX5500. Had it cleaned and restored and would like to upgrade to new speakers. This is a quad receiver and sounds fantastic using only two channels running through low end fisher 3 way floor speakers. I have a small room (600 sq feet) and would like to consider bookshelf speakers. I really need/want to hear what this monster can do (not just volume, but more importanly, range) and, of course, I have a limited budget. So, I thought that the kind folks here could provide some insight and possible suggestions. Any and all comment are appreciated!
