I am staying in an extended stay hotel for 5 months on long-term business. The TV's they have here are Pansonic TH-37LRU30 units that were manufactured in February of 2012 so they are fairly nice, newer model 1080p IPS LCDs.
Unfortunately the hotel of course has a guest menu option setup so that you can only see aspect ratio, sleep, CC, SD Card Load, and Input Selection when you hit the menu button.
These TV's have some ambient light-based brightness adjustment that is super annoying and never seems to be bright enough.
I am hoping someone can let me know how to disable the guest mode menu on these sets and access the true menu on the unit. Even the manual for the TV that I dug up has a whole page on the guest menu feature but no instructions as to how to turn it on or off.
