Decent outdoor projector?

I had a thread in the outdoor area but it's rather dead in there. My brother can get me an Epson 710HD for under $500 as an open box at BB. How would this projector fair outdoors? Is 2800 Lumens enough?

As with any pj, ambient light is the killer. If you plan on using on a well lit basketball court, prob not. If you plan to use it in the dark, even with a full moon, prob be fine. Art liked it for the price point. http://www.projectorreviews.com/epson/home-cinema-710/index.php

He also reviewed an outdoor screen.

Nope I'll only be using it my backyard with no light at all.

Sounds like it'll be fine for that, just realize it is only a 720p resolution projector.

I use a Optoma GT720 on my 220in outdoor with no problem. But it helps being a short throw projector, meaning more light hit the screen. The 720p resolution has been no problem. Movies and PS3 looks good on it.
