Does the Samsung EH6070 have better PQ/Blacks Than EH6000?

Taking back my LG 55LM7600 this week due to unbearable edge bleed.

Looking at either the Samsung 55" EH6070 or Samsung 60" EH6000 since they are the only non edge-lit models under $2k.

Going through the Samsung EH6000 thread, some people reported that blacks looked violet/purple. I can't find anyone saying that about the Samsung 6070, but I guess the reason could be that there are only a handful of user reviews on the 6070 so far.

Are there any color/blacks/pq differences between the EH6000 and EH6070 besides 3D?

watch out for the panel lottery, it can have a very real impact on things like color/blacks/PQ in general

Is there a way to find out what you're getting via a serial number or other label marking? I have one being held, wuld love to check the box and have a choice. Thx

I know I'm late but from what I understand the version# typically 4 digits is how to increase your odds of getting a good panel at "panel lottery". Mine is a TH01 witch at the time I cant recall what it means actually. I do know i have the required 6 in the correct place in my service menu to say Samsung manufactured my panel. I have had mine a week and so far no issues(other than lack of Anynet+ on the TV being ignorant since this is a Samsung bundle and they own the patents) Let me know if you kept the 6070 or returned it and your thought on it if you kept it or what you replaced it with. thanks!

If the white square on the side of the box says Version TS01 or TS02, then it is a Samsung panel. Also US02 and I think TH01. And the Samsung panels are usually the preferred panels.
