Adjust the subwoofer, need help!

I bought the Jamo SUB 650. generally, this is a very great sub. I like the music performance.

However, I found a problem. when I watch some movie, especially in some screen, like people talk in car.

the engine sound is very loud. after I plug the sub, everything is ok.

I used the Denon Audyssey to setup subwoofer and crossline is 80hz.

Do you guys know what happened to my sub?

I really don't know what you're trying to say. What does "plug the sub" mean? Crossover at 80hz isn't unusual. Are you getting nothing out of the sub now after Audyssey setting and you're comparing it to before you ran Audyssey? When you say the engine sound is loud, is it supposed to be? What example are you using in this case? Each particular movie/show will be mixed differently...

sorry, not explain clear.

I said in the movie, the sub make the car engine sound very loud as the jet engine. if I shout down the sub, the sound will be normal.

do you know what happened?

What movie is this in? Sounds like your sub isn't set at 80hz crossover or the level setting is too high, but that might depend on the engine wink.gif

Are you sure you're using the LFE input on the sub to allow your AVR to set crossover? What version of Audyssey does your Denon have?

Shouting down a sub sounds like it would hurt your throat smile.gif
