Panasonic TC-L55E50 with $200 Amazon credit

Amazon has the TC-L55E50 @ $1050 right now with a $200 promo credit, and since I shop at Amazon quite often, this brings down the effective price of the TV to $850.


What do you guys think about this deal? worth pulling the trigger on, or should I hold off and wait for black friday?

price on the ET5 55 inch just lowered to a insane 1038.00 - just purchased one,i suggest anyone ready to deal to make there move fast ! are you ready for some football !

I think it's a decent deal. I'm hoping this TV will drop to around ~$750 straight up, no promo credit gimmicks, since I don't shop that much from amazon. Don't care about 3D or Wifi, so not really interested in the ET5. Also, Fry's has the 55ET5 for $899 this week.

Paul's has this TV for $950 + a $300 restaurant.com GC. On slickdeals, there's talk about trying to get amazon to PM Paul's and then get the $200 amazon promo credit. That would be a great deal.

I would prefer the Panasonic P55ST50 plasma, but I don't think it will fall to this price range anytime soon. The thing about waiting for black friday is that CES 2013 will be only a month away after, and the new 2013 TVs will be on display.

...wow I have been watching 55ET5 every day and the price went up from $1138 + free 24-in LCD TV before Labor day. They ran out of 55ET5 just before Labor day, and now they have have it closer to $1375 in my cart with no free TV.

$200 Amazon credit is fine, but I have no use for more Restaurant.com coupons we have some and very few places around here take it.
