Tried to get started with CalMAN Enthusiast tonight, but ran into some issues I'm hoping you can help with. The most significant issue was that I could not get the auto-cal to run for grayscale/gamme or 3D cube gamut.
I have a Radiance XS with the latest firmware which was just released earlier today , err, I mean yesterday at this point.
I am running the latest CalMAN which I download yesterday.
I imported my license key and CalMAN shows Enthusiast. I was successfully able to run automated series measurements for grayscale/gamma, saturation sweeps and ColorChecker and the data looked good.
However, when I press the auto-cal button (which is lit and enabled), nothing happens. It acts like I never pressed it. When I retry, sometimes I see a small window very briefly appear that says something like "Display update in progress" but it disappears so fast that its almost impossible to read. I tried with a number of workflows including 3D cube, Enthusiast and Advanced. At one point, after switching to Advanced, it actually did start. I hit next tho because I was more concerned about why it wouldn't start normally and wanted to investigate more instead of taking the time to let it run thru. I then tried to restart it but again nothing would happen when I hit the button. I tried exiting and restarting CalMAN but it didn't make a difference. I also tried rebooting but that didn't help either. From that point forward no matter what I tried I could not get the auto-cal to run for gamma/grayscale or 3D cube. Yet other functions of the program like taking a series of measures for grayscale/gamma and the CMS were fine.
Does anything come to mind and what can I do to help troubleshoot this? The auto-cal was the thing I was looking forward to using the most so I really would like to get this going today.
Also just a side note - when I did manage to get it running that one time - it was reading 10% off the screen with the i1D3 for about 20 minutes before I had stopped it. The dE2000 was just under 2.0 it looked like from the graph the whole time and not really improving. Is it normal to take that long on this one point?
