Samsung PS43E450 Settings from users.

Thread Starter
Hi, this is my first post in this forum.

So i got this new TV, i was really tight on budget and chose this TV over 32inch full hd tv's.

Now my problem is, i cant seem to find the right settings.

I play movies from USB wich doesnt allow me to use every settings in the video settings option.

And i play on xbox360 over a hdmi cable (HDMI2 port).

What i notice about this TV its kinda darkish, the backlight isnt bright. That kinda is dissapointing for me.

Maybe its the settings? And the brightness setting doesnt seem to work when im on the 360.
Also the "600hz" i cant see, the videos arent smooth and i cant seem to find that option anywhere.

I hope someone can help me and give me there settings?

Ah a Breaking Bad fan.
That episode 8 was amazing!
"TIGHT! Tight, tight, YEAH! Oh, blue, yellow, pink. Whatever, man. Just keep bringing me that"

This works fine on my E450.
My Shadow Detail is finally looking normal after 2 months.
I left it on 10 days straight.
Overnight on HD channels ID and Tru.
mixed up the Dish programing, no games.
limited time with black bars.
no problems, no IR, etc.

Hey, guys!

So, I realise this thread is from last year but I was wondering if anyone who owns or used to own this (PS43E450) set has or had noticed a couple things off about the screen?

1st: I've notice quite heavy white spots appearing in both bottom corners of the screen. Almost like clumps of stuck-on-white pixels most notably on light to white pictures.

2nd: Whites seem to be almost cloudy in appearance. Best way I can describe this is that it looks like static smoke or something on the other side of the glass.

Should point out the set is literally days old from Amazon brand new.
Any advice regarding fixes or if Samsung may consider a warranty repair? I tried searching but nothing really helpful regarding the spots or Sammy's policy.

Thanks.

I don't have any heavy white spots in lower corners on mine. That does not sound normal for plasmas.

The cloudy whites could be the gamma setting, brightness, contrast,or color space setting on cable box. Make sure all power saving settings are off like ecosensor.

That does not sound normal at all, return it.

Thought so. Ok thanks, guys. Will get Samsung to do a warranty repair job or swap as I already accepted a partial refund from Amazon...
