Looks like a good deal on a SC Receiver. Price is $679.99 after using code.
Can someone please let me know if this receiver has a 12V trigger? I'd love to jump on this deal
but only need to verify that it does have a 12v trigger.

I've read that it is assignable but when looking at rear panel I don't see them. frown.gifconfused.gif

Came across 2 PRODUCT SHEETS and one does list 2 (12V) triggers.

Just saw this deal, too, from a Newegg email blast. It's rated for 4-Ohm speakers... debating pulling the trigger myself.

Thanks for posting the product specification links!

Edit: cons for me are the lack of Audyssey, SirisXM hardware control port, and Zone 2 HDMI.

The pictures in both PRODUCT SHEETS I posted do not show the triggers. Looked at the Specs from the SC-61 and they are there, right next to the IR (in/out).
Many merchants selling this receiver are going by what is posted in Pioneer's website and they will be disappointed that it may not have a 12v trigger eek.gif

What you see is what you get, newegg pics are of the units shipped.
Here is NO trigger ports with the 1222.
There is a 5 volt output, but is on or off by menu setting and is linked to the RS-323c port.
I'm not sure how you could use this..

I wish the SC-1522-K was the model on sale for that price today. frown.gif

is this a good deal ? - today is my birthday and I'm running out of time ;-)

Well happy birthday wink.gif

Newegg has it on sale for $599.99 today:

Pioneer SC-1222-K 7.2-Channel Network Ready AV Receiver
$599.99
With Promo Code: EMCYTZT2251

I am tempted to get this unit myself, but I have a very simple Onkyo 6.1 system now, and am worried this is too much of a system for me.

It's rarely worth waiting to pull the trigger on Internet deals, but that's an $80 savings from yesterday's cost! I have an old Onkyo HTIB also. If I wasn't eyeing the SC-1522-K and an entire HT upgrade I'd replace my current system with this.

Just noticed this deal too...man, I want to get it but I have an Emotiva Amp that I currently have connected to RECEIVER using the 12V trigger.
Doing so has allowed me to program the receiver alone with my Logitech ONE remote. What are my options without the trigger?

is it worth getting this for $599 or a lightly used VSX1121-K for $450?

$549.99 today at the 'egg with promo code EMCJJHG59. Lowest price yet.

Onkyo TX-NR818 is $699 today on newegg as well which is an awesome price for the crowd favorite onkyo ATM.

Onkyo 818 is $649 at Amazon

Thanks a lot for the sale info. I didn't see the $649 one, but I went ahead cancelled my $549 sc-1222k order and booked an $699 ONKYO 818 on newegg. Not sure if I made a good decision but at least there are tons of people using 818 and I feel more comfortable owning it.
