I picked up a Gigabyte Z77X-UD5H mostly because it had firewire and loads of USB 3.0 ports. I noticed its touting of Creative Labs THX Trustudio Pro, but didn't think much about it except, cool audio should be pretty good. Well, I've started playing with it and now realize it is only a software layer, so nothing special about the board's audio. I use SPDIF out to 2 channel, and the software lets me adjust settings specifically for that output, but I can't say that I have noticed much. I hear way more difference between medium and high bit-rate rips than any adjustment withing the Trustudio. Anybody have any experience with it and suggestions that they want to share? I'm not un-installing yet, but may after some more playing around.
