ARE YOU HERE FROM GOOGLE? READ BEFORE POSTING! I HAVE NO MORE INVITES.

*NEW RULE. You must have more than 20 posts on these forums, and they can not all be from the last couple of days.*

I've got some Firefall beta keys to hand out. Who wants in?

It is by far my favorite MMO I have yet to play, and I hate MMOs. I'm also liking it better than Planetside 2.

Doesn't look quite like my type of game, I got into the PlanetSide 2 beta a couple days ago and been having tons of fun with that. All the vids I've sen of FireFall make it look like a game I'd have more fun watching rather than playing.

I will say this though, depending on how many invites you have, if you don't give them all away here, I'll take one and try the game out, maybe I'll end up liking it, who knows.

Flash - Joining a forum to poach a beta key is bad form.

Marafice - I'll keep that in mind. I've handed out three invites in other locations and have three left to go.

There is a moment in Firefall that is pure gold. Somebody will drop a thumper to extract minerals, and you need to protect it from swarms of bugs. Dynamically people will just stop by to help protect the thumper, resulting in three to ten people hanging out murdering hundreds of incoming bugs attracted to the noise. Tons of fun. smile.gif

Definitely sounds cool, but like I said, I'd rather have them go to people who are enthusiastic about playing before 1 goes to me just to try it out. Like I said, who knows, maybe I'll like it.

Yes, I did find this thread from a google search. Yes, I did join the forums to post this request. No, it's not my first time here.

I wanted a key, but not enough to be spoken down to in this way. Enjoy the game. Be nice.

I don't think he was being rude at all. He was restating a point he made a few posts earlier. I also agree with him. It really doesn't matter if it's not our first time here, it's still your first post. I also don't give things out to 'randos' (that's not demeaning btw, just simply a terms for random people) I prefer to give things to active/participating individuals. I lurk on a large number of forums, but I also don't expect to be considered for a giveaway if I've never posted before. Sorry if you took what he said to be rude, or what I say to be rude, but we're simply firmly restating a position.

Besides, if you knew DLJ like most here do (and I haven't even been here long and still know this) that wording id nice, just strong, hardly rude.

Apologies - I did not notice the comment to 'MrFl4sh'...and I'm pretty sure the new rule was posted after me (probably prompted by me, in fact). I certainly would not have presumed to ask for a key if I had seen such, and seen in this light, your response is totally understandable.

For the record, I totally get what both of you guys are saying, and would probably take a similar position myself in the same situation. Perhaps I took offence too easily to what I mistakenly read as a rude tone.

Again, I apologise for my knee-jerk reaction. I have no desire to offend or start a flame war.

And I did mean what I said earlier - please do enjoy the game. No hard feelings?

All right. I sent out some beta keys. I have now burned through the six that I had and am depleted. More may show up in my account though, so I'll let you guys know if I have some more to hand out.
