Hello, Long time reader first time post, looking for help.
I have a new Denon 3312 and I am wanting to set up a zone 2. I just got my new amp, an Audiosource 210, today. I purchased this amp so I could use the trigger from the Denon to activate the amp. The trigger piece works fine.
The issue is there is a very loud and pronounced noise/buzz/hiss coming from the speakers connected to the amp. I removed the trigger setup and have the amp in manual control (push button on/off). I have the speakers connected and I have the RCA plugs (line) from the Denon zone 2 going to the amp.
When I turn on zone 2 on the denon and turn on the amp I hear the buzz. I haven't really played with the settings on either the denon nor the amp, just enough to turn up the master volume on the amp and then up the volume trim. I also turned up the volume on the Denon.
I'm simply listening to the local HD radio station, so, it's not an issue with any HDMI or digital connections. Just the radio at this point. I feel like it is a HW issue, I doubt I'm using the best RCA cables, but, it seems like if I improve the cables that it would only make a marginal difference. The noise is very pronounced.
Can someone help, is this with settings on the Denon or the Amp or both? If I need new RCA cables can someone recommend a set? Is there any interference I should be looking for?
Thanks for taking a look.
