I am in the market for a sound bar ... can anyone comment on the SoloCinema XTR versus the Yamaha YSP 4300?

What are the best settings you guys have found for movies, tv and music. Trying to get my SSA immersion level just right for watching tv and I'm having a hard time deciding what sounds best.

10 for Movies
0 for Music
Music is a tuff one since the higher number takes the vocals out of the mix a bit.
For movies ya really want the effect so just keep,it on 10.
Just my thoughts

So just the stock settings. Have you found a sweet spot for tv yet?

Yes, overall no.
I feel 10 for movies felt the best.
It's so easy to mess around with the sound, you might find something works better for your ears, but I like 10 for movies, for music I'll move it around a bit and see what setting fits best for the program, but 0 seems to feel good to me

Yeah I like the adjustments that can be made as far as center, sub and surround effect. It's just that I find myself constantly tweaking them. Have you messed with the DTS settings yet?

The DTS ?
what one is that ?
I usually keep all the setting to "on"
and I try not to keep messing with it, but sometimes the ADD gets the best of me.
