Ebay Speaker Wire?

Is there any reason not to buy speaker wire from Ebay? I just did a quick search and it is much cheaper than even Monoprice. Here is an example of wire on Ebay.

Also, I was planning to purchase 12 gauge wire for the butt kickers in my chairs. Should I plan on using 12 gauge for all of my speakers in the theater (including subs)?

If monoprice is just a little bit more, go with them. So many people swear by their stuff, reviews don't get much better.

Monoprice is about 2.5x more expensive, but if the quaulity is higher, it is worth the extra dollars. I just knew that many of the "premium" brands were no better than the wire sold by places like monoprice. I didn't know if the ebay wire was the same quality.
