Difference between Denon DHT-591BA and DHT-1513BA?

What's the difference between these two systems besides one being newer than the other?

The 591 is the 1612 which gets you over the 1513: 5way binding posts rather than spring clips, 4 hdmi inputs, audyssey multi eq( that's a big one) and a different remote. That is just the receivers I didn't look at the speakers. If you can grab a 591 with a warranty I would do that all day long

I actually bought both the DHT-1513BA and the DHT-591BA. I bought the DHT-1513BA at Best Buy on sale for my parents and i found a reasonably priced DHT-591BA on eBay brand new in box for myself.

I had an idea with setting up the parents home theater since theirs doesnt come with Audyssey set up. Is it possible for me to set up their speakers using my AVR-1612 and Audyssey, then transfer the adjusted settings to their AVR-1513?

Yes you could do that, you a would only gain channel level and distance rather than the full eq but it would certainly be better than nothing.

Since when did the 591BA come with the 1612 receiver? It used to come with the AVR 591 receiver which is different from the 1612.

I own the Denon 591 receiver and the differences from the 1513 are all the things mentioned above plus the ability to convert analog video to HDMI which the 1612 nor 1513 do. And it also has a component video input which the 1612 and 1513 do not have.
