I have never been able to understand the process in calibrating my JVC RS1 projector but since the Lawrence of Arabia BluRay is coming out in November I thought that I better get started. Living in a small town, there is no one to call to come so I am game to try with the help of my more technically savvy son.
Which one of these instruments is the best for this application and what else do I need? Calibration disc for BluRay and which one?
Any help with users familiar with these would be deeply appreciated. I understand that the i1Display Pro software has been a problem and the accuracy of the Spyder products in the past have been an issue. Any thoughts of whether this is getting resolved?
