I'm trying to setup two different sound devices, but have both plugged into the same onboard sound port. I have speakers, and headphones. But only one sound port. Its just onboard sound, no sound card. Problem is, just using the little adapter thing I have from radioshack, produces some bad sound quality. If you plug them both in at once.
You get some popping and crackling noises, and windows doesn't seem to like it much. How should I go about having them both plugged in, the RIGHT way? That will make it easy to switch back and forth.
