Today they have a deal in amazon for $179. Need your guys opinion before I go for it.

I have a 60" TV with relatively small room.

I too am looking at this deal. The reviews I have been reading have been very positive but I am still doing my research.

I'd jump on it. It's $499.00 at frys.

Hello guys!
What an inconclusive thread! I really would like to know the end of story! Is this worth its value or not? Did you like how it sounds?

I've heard those speakers plenty of times in my local Fry's. They're great for $179 or $199. Even better if you catch one of Fry's $149 sales. You usually can't get two tower speakers in a 5.0 setup for that price. I'd rather have the Jamo s426 than a satellite speaker package.

The problem is that nobody that asked about these speakers has mentioned their room size, if they have a subwoofer or not and what receiver they have. The OP said he had a relatively small room and never came back.

If you do a search there are 217 threads that mention the s426 with plenty of reviews.

Here are 28 reviews of the towers. They're called Energy EF-500 here but they're just rebadged Jamo S426 speakers.

Cool but I would like to know if they are just good or good for its price. In Canada the lowest price for it is 300$. Can those be compared, by exemple ,with similar columns like its equivalents in Energy Connoisseur or Polk TSi series

I don't think they're as good as the Energy Connoisseur towers like the CF-30 or the Polk Monitor 50/Tsi300. They're very entry level speakers, maybe a notch below. But you're probably paying a lot more for the Energy and Polk Speakers too.

You may want to look at the Andrew Jones Pioneer speakers if they sell them up there.

I think Costco.ca sells the the Jamo package for $300. Buy them and if you don't like them, return to Costco for a full refund. You've got nothing to lose but a little time.
