This week's episode was a masterwork of television suspense, IMO. Looks like a coup is imminent in DC and a mutiny among Chapman's crew. The tension is ratcheting up, as is the pressure on Marcus. Looks like he was ready to sink that destroyer!
But he was also grateful an act of insubordination saved him from an act that would have destroyed his soul. He was also apparently ready to calmly die at the cute spy's hand. It's a fascinating portrait of developing megalomania, and Braugher is one of few actors capable of pulling it off.
This was, to me, the strongest episode of this series yet. Too bad there are only two left - and a lot of ground (or, water) to cover.
