Finished my I5 Gaming build but it wont see my creative sound card. I tried 3 slots!

GIGABYTE GA-Z77-D3H LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

I dont get it. it doesnt show up. its lit up in the back so its connected right. I tried 3 slots. Am I missing something here? its a creative http://us.store.creative.com/Creative-Sound-Blaster-XFi-Titanium-HD/M/B0041OUA38.htm

Its not listed in device manager. I even disabled onboard audio. im lost.

Can you connect the sound card to another computer? While the mb could be having a conflict or all pci-e slots are shot, the more likely answer is the sound card isn't working.

Do you have another device you can connect to verify the mb slots are good?
