Question about Yamaha RX-V671 Receiver

SO I am having a small issue. Not sure if this is supposed to work this way... but here goes...

Current components:
2x Klipsch WF-35
1x Yamaha RX-V671 7.1-Channel Network AV Receiver
1x Polk 12' Subwoofer PSW505

Currently I have this setup as a 2.1 system. I have run the bi-amp connections to the speakers correctly. My current issue is when I set the front speakers from "small", to "large"(since they are large) in the receiver, the front speakers sound great with decent base. However the light up subwooder icon on the receiver turns off and obviously the sub puts out notta.

Everything works as it should when the front speakers are set to "small", but I want the full sound... When the speakers are set to small they put out mostly highs and mids. Each speaker has tripple 5.25 subs.

Any ideas how I can set the bi-amped fronts to large and still have the sub engaged? FYI the sub is hooked up with a dedicated RCA.

Any sugguestions would be appreciated!

Go into Setup, Speakers, Manual Setup, Configuration, and turn on Extra Bass.

"Extra Bass: Select whether to play front channel low-frequencies through either of the front speaker or the subwoofer, or through both the subwoofer and front speakers."

More info in the manual on page 91.

Thanks Captian! Much appreciated! Will try this when I get home. Looking forward to a more robust sound :-).
