Stewart Filmscreen Corporation is an award winning manufacturer of custom screens worldwide. We are currently looking for a Project Manager for Inside Sales at our corporate office in Torrance, CA.
This position is responsible for leading the Inside Sales Team in answering inquiries, providing production information, giving quotations, entering and scheduling orders and managing projects to completion.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.
•Respond to phone calls, faxes and e-mails from Dealers, Reps and End Users
•Provide excellent customer service. Handle/resolve irate calls and e-mails when team members need help.
•Provide technical information when possible. Support the sales team by answering their technical questions and advising them on how to proceed. Basically be the “Go to person”.
•Take orders and prepare quotations and shop drawings for signature.
•Check on order status.
•Process orders and notify customers of lead times.
•Manage and follow up on special projects. Oversee projects being handled by other team members. Help team members with project management and when required take over on very high profile jobs. Attend all Level 3 meetings.
•Assist fellow sales engineers with workload when needed.
•Help management by reviewing orders, processed by team members.
•Manage Territories and Special Accounts
•Help training new hires.
•Monitor processes and procedures to ensure the sales team is following them
•Complete CTS-Certified Technology Specialist Training & Certification
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Residential and Comjmercial Inside Sales Technicians
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Good phone and customer service skills with customers.
•Ability to deal with irate customers.
•Follow up abilities on all orders – Must be able to project manage
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma
Some college desirable
3-5 years experience in sales and customer service or equivalent production experience with Stewart Filmscreen
Construction experience helpful
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
•Good written and verbal English skills.
•Foreign language skills a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
•Must be good in basic math skills-using fraction, percentages
•Ability in algebra & geometry, trigonometry a plus
•Able to read a drawing to scale
REASONING ABILITY:
•Able to think through requirements of customer and offer solutions.
•Must be able to prioritize and identify critical orders.
•Ability to reason with customers when there is a problem.
•Able to learn technical product

•None
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•Heavy phones and computer use – extended hours.
•Multi-tasking
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
•Busy office environment – some interaction with production area.
Travel for work at trade shows – twice a year
