anamorphic lens manufactured this with 2 prisms panatar an old lens for 35mm projection. the separate and wash with alcohol to remove the filter and worn, and yellow. then mount them in a box of a dichroic lamp that did not use the mount and so you can project very close to the lens of my Optoma HD70. diy screen is also painted on the wall. measured 1.25 meters high x 3 meters wide. see my videos on youtube greetings. from Chile.

Nice one eek.gif Where did you bought your prisms? Do you notice any chromatic aberration (CA) & other image distortions? btw, what do you mean "wash the prisms with alcohol to remove the filter and worn, and yellow"? is it a must to do so for any prisms?

prisms are an old 35mm projection lens, panatar 1954. over time turn yellow prisms, for that reason we must unstick and then washed in alcohol to remove the original filter and carrying deteriorado.no already there chromatic aberration and distortion.
sorry for my English is google translation.
