Hello again!
Still trying to decide which on-wall speaker system to buy. Already ruled out Klipsch Gallery G28's due to the horn tweeter and its harshness, so 1 down, 3 to go!
I have a 1,700sq ft room (13.3ft W x 12.5ft D x 10ft avg. H), and there is no way to use floor standing speakers, zero, nada!
System will be used for movies, maybe some music or a game, but they are not that important.
I will keep them for the long run, no plan to upgrade in some years. I live in a small country so selling them used will be close to impossible, unless I give them away really, really cheap.
Oh and I will be purchasing from amazon or online retailers.
KEF T301
http://www.kef.com/html/us/showroom/home_theatre_speakers/tseries/fact_sheets/speakers/t301/index.html
This is the cheapest option, but the slim 1.4" speakers don't promise good bass/mids.
2x 4.5" drivers + tweeter, 3.3lbs each.
$1,900 4x T301 +1x 301C (no sub)
$2,200 in combo with a KEF T-2 (ie. 305 system http://www.amazon.com/KEF-T305-Home-Theater-System/dp/B004CX9L4M
)
Atlantic Tech FS-3200
http://atlantictechnology.com/default.asp?NodeId=56
Medium price, nice 5" depth plus additional bass radiators will help the low end
2x 4.5"Active + 2x 4.5"Passive + tweeter, 16lbs
$2,275 2x FS-3200LR, 1x FS-3200C, 2x 2400 (no sub)
Mythos 10
http://www.definitivetech.com/products/mythos-ten
Highest price of the lot. Best bass/low performance and for what I have read, they are excellent. 4.2" depth
2x 5.25" Active + 2x 2x8" Passive radiators + tweeter, 17lbs
$3,400 3x Mtyhos 10, 2x Mythos Gem XL (no sub)
For the sub, I'm hoping for an HSU VTF-3 MK4 at $660, but if my stock options go up for the time of purchase, I might go all the way to the VTF-15H (click buy and don't look back! lol)

The big question: Are the Mythos 10 really that good?
They are $1,125 more expensive than the FS-3200 system.
Is there any other on-wall system I should consider?
Please note $3,400 is already hitting the top of my budget.
P.D.
I was thinking on taking the KEF out of the list, $375 to upgrade to the FS-3200 sounds simple to me. But the combo-price (including the T-2 sub) made my wallet jump with joy.
However, this purchase is guided more by heart so... unless the KEF are extremely wonderful, marvelous and great, should we ignore them for now?
I also ruled out Mythos XTR50/XTR60 since the slim cabinet sacrifices the low end, and the XTR60 is the same price as the Mythos 10, so no brainer here.
Please let me know what you think
