Lol, like me? Actually Beast and Carp are expected quite a bit more than four drivers too.

I wish that I knew about these back in August when I started my build as they look like great speakers and would work really well on my Crown XLS2500. Oh well... I guess it's for the best as I'm in a condo with three neighbors that are directly connected to my living room. I don't think that they would like me very much if I put two of these bad boys in my living room let alone 4. My neighbor on the other side of my living room would probably think that there was an earthquake or something. I hope that my two JL 10W7's are satisfactory for now until I get a house. 4 of these model real nice with each one of them in their own 4.5 cubic foot box being supplied 2400 watts total to all four.

I think we need to have a most drivers per cf award.

Twelve 18's and twelve 15's in my ~2,000cuft room.

Ran mine free-air to put it thru its paces a bit before my cabs are done...sure sounds clean!

Hey the 15's don't cover the same range so it does count. In all when said and done i will have 12 13's, 5 horn loaded 15's, 8 horn loaded 10's, and 160 horn loaded tweeters in 2100 cubes.

Sure they are. All twelve 15's will run 2-300hz.

The 2226's were not meant for the low stuff, letting your 18's do it all will be better. 50-1khz is a different story!

Yep, there is more sensitivity up top but it looks like there is plenty of bass down low to me. Add in more dB for the other two plus all the 18's reproducing the deep bass. I'm sure the system will sound....bassy.

I have used 18 inch JBL's as the bottom of my Main channels for about 12 years now. They just have a certain something going on that has to be experienced. You will like the outcome for sure.

Well, they do not just drop in. I need to route the opening and create some kind of grill offset.

Definitely need the grill in my house. Those speaker cones are like bull's eyes with kids.

Hey all,

I just wanted to give you a heads up about the person who made the cab for my custom 18" Mag V2 and will be making another for my 18 D2. He's located in the Hampton, VA area.
Below are some examples of his work. Last link is to a thread mistakenly labelled as the SI HT. That is, in fact, the custom Mag that Nick created for me.

Price included the birch cab, including roundovers, customer grill, speakon connector, feet, and Duratex finish. I of course had to provide the neo magnets, grill cloth, speakon connector, feet, and Duratex. Turned out great, IMO. Just an option for those who want the DIY performance/price, but have neither the skills nor tools to do it yourself.

I couldn't quite resist sharing these pictures that popalock sent me this morning. He went down to SI to pick up his "order." Let it be known that the majority of these drivers are for HIM. I think there was 30 something drivers total. 34 maybe? 4 are for me and 4 are for Nathan J. The rest are staying at this SICKOS house......

Yes he does. I told him once he fires up "just 8 of them" to give me a call. I have a feeling he will almost be satisfied at that point.

Haha, just got off the phone with him, he said he has not a single space left for another woofer, or he might have gotten more. Haha. Trailer also has a little wobble going over 60mph so he is taking his time. Good day for smuggling drivers though I am going to scoop mine tomorrow...

Lol I get it though, he's trying to make sure there will be no more wanting for anything in the subwoofer realm.

Maybe he has the power move buying up all the drivers controlling supply and demand?

That bastard probably bought up all the Daytons from PE too.....
