I host mine on a picture server. You could print screen and paste into paint and upload as well I guess.

THank you, here they are

If your using Windows 7 search programs for the snipping tool which works great for screen captures.
Here is 12 drivers vs 12 drivers using my clone amp(14000 watts)(they both will fry with full power) but you can see it is a 2 to 1 ratio. Do I want 6 dBs more headroom when I have to turn it down already?

Thanks and yes, windows 7.

This is what I do.

You actually don't even need to host externally any longer as AVS gives you an upload feature on here now which you can even reference externally. Nice feature!
It is a cool feature. You can even choose to take a pic from your phone and upload it directly.

Really, cool! I always use photobucket. Do you guys think I should tear apart my theater and build 12 of these for 6 dBs more output? I have hit 130 dBs with sine waves already. I know it will create a baffle wall of subs and speakers. I am building 3 T-48's for my bottoms of my DR-250's and using singles. Basically tower speakers with 107-108 dB sensitivity from 80-20khz, all 5 channels will be exactly the same(I am using 5.1). I can tell you from using 190v2's, sealed and ported, CHT subs, DTS-10's, F-20's, SVS, Klipsch, pro audio, these little guys give me the best experience I have ever had.

You mean the SI's or the Ultra's?

Eeeek! Scary thought...

I thought I remember reading somewhere that you could hit 130db at 10hz?

What does the model look like with 16 and two Clones?
One clone will be plenty for 16 and just add about 3 more dBs. With full power both systems would go over x-max near 20hz but that is a sim. I have never reached clipping on my amp for any movie with 6 dBs hot and a low shelf boost of 3 dBs. The first sim has both systems with about 6000 watts and they don't go over x-max until under 5hz. You don't need huge amounts of power with many drivers, especially with movie material, unless you want 140 dBs!
Here are 16 drivers with 600 watts each and a 22x22x22 box each.

and here is the excursion

These are sims and Ricci did fine with lots of power and that size box with burst testing. Also my drivers have been thru lots of different tests with no problems either.

It is always a safe bet though and the higher the tune the more you need it. The reason for this is that under 10hz you have electronics rolloff and also the material is usually recorded lower as well so you don't need as much spl.
Seems like a recipe for disaster with movies like WOTW unless you have some gear in your chain that rolls off early and gives you an unintended HPF.

No, but these guys will have you upgrading in no time because extreme excess is the new cool.

MK, stay w/what you got, ... those big, sluggish 18's can't hang with your fast subs....... right?

Yes, it could be, I never had issues though. Just look at what I am running now, here is the sim and cone excursion with my amp, obviously I am not using the whole amp or my drivers would be sounding funny.

This is with 6000 watts so it seems I don't use over 6000 watts with all these drivers.

Nice, I always say smaller is faster but because I can throw them faster, not in this case as my drivers weigh 60 pounds each, still smaller to get a better grasp. You know me, I will change but the output I have is crazy, I knocked out a light which I never did before and the ULF's are better than ever. Madaeel can attest to the power of these little guys.

You guys really suck! I have hit 127.5 dBs with 10% THD at 10hz with this system and now it is for sale! Why, so I can hit 133.5 dBs at 10hz! Really it is for looks as I will have all 22 inch square cubes in my room from floor to ceiling and the width of the room, a different kind of baffle wall. Who wants some awesome subs for cheap! They weigh 200 pounds each with dual drivers. They perform extremely well.

I am lost on what you have now. I need to get on the subscription list for the monthly flyer, so I know what you have for sale each month. smile.gif

To stay on topic, I have one of my boxes built. Just need to sand and finish. Second box is about half-way glued up. Boxes are designed to go under my screen. They are 48.5" wide, 23" tall and 12" deep. Driver is surface mounted.

Haha, I have 12 eD 13av2's in 6 dual driver boxes. Basically 6 A7S-650 kits but with binding posts rather than their amp(Passive).
Personally I would just wait for Kevin's new maelstroms mkt if I was you and seeing the upgrades you've made over the years.
22 inch cube subs with match my 22 inch cubed speakers and it will look great. This is not about output or sound quality as that is already and has been covered for a while now. I do like to compare things as well, but my comparisons are becoming more about spl and THD these days. It will be intersting to see if I truely can hit 133.5 dBs at 10hz at 10% thd which the sim says has 6 dBs more at 10hz.

MK, what was the fate of your dual DTS-10's?
