Just saw this.

Words are insufficient.

Make sure and take care of yourself (and those close to you)

I want to thank everyone for their care, concern and support. Karen and I were married for more than 30 years, and she'll always be in my heart. Our daughters are 23 and 24, and I have a full plate ahead, as I must be both father and even mother to the extent that I am able to (of course, I can never replace my wife and wouldn't even try, just try my best to fill in however I can).

My wife Karen was a very special person. Her obituary and guest book is at:

I want to thank everyone again for their care and concern. I am so fortunate to have so many good friends and family here in the Phoenix area locally, as well as extended family across the internet and AVS.

And special thanks to several AVSers and friends who planted trees in Israel honoring my wife - that was really nice and means a lot.

Its really hard losing someone you love and have been with 32 years and married more than 30 years. One is never ever the same again when this occurs. Crying, sadness and sorrow often come without any effort at all, the effort is getting back to life, and being there for my two daughters as all of us need each other now more than ever.

I am working on getting back to some productivity - work, play (home theater and audio, etc). I feel like I have had that gastic tie operation but I haven't. But I am eating much less, eating much better, and I have dropped ten pounds the past month. And we haven't yet started the weight watchers online for cooking and eating - which we plan to do.

So I guess I will now resume posting some here at AVS from time to time as interests allow.
