Upgrade ? ,Samsung 650, 750 ,850 LCD what is alot better now from those who owned these series

Hi I am in the market for a new TV, I bought a Sammy 650 in 2008 and have loved it alot and then I bought a Pannie ST 30 60 inch in 2011 and came to realize these TV's do not work in a well lite room very good so I threw it in the Bedroom.

What is out their that is truly better than the old 650 series TV's today for a reasonable price. I know the ST 50 pannie is alot better but would it be bright enough?

Most of the new LCD's I have looked at look fake to me and over done and not real realistic, My ST 30 60 I bought when conditions are right looks way more real than my LCD 650 but the plasma has a tendacy to drop the ball to often because in alot of scenes the TV is not bright enough and it really wrecks the viewing experience so overall I like the 650 LCD better because it is much more consistant.

So I want a bright TV that truly looks realer than my old 650 LCD, I had this chat a year and a half ago on this board and a tech came out and posted buy Panny Plasma because all the new LED Sammies in 2011 were not as good as my old 650 and that there may bet better LED LCD's than my old 650 but I would have to pay for it and Samsung did not make one better at the time so he said look at Sony If I wanted LED.

Needless to say I bought the ST 30 and for the living room it was a mistake because it is not bright enough.

Any help would be great to replace my 650,I was thinking ST 50 but that is what I thought last year when I bought the ST 30 and ended up using it in the bedroom.

So you are saying you like it better than your old 850? the 650 and 850 are about the same TV.That was the biggest complaint the TECH had about the newer Sammie LED's compared to the old LCD 850 series was the screen uniformity was not as good and the edge lit bled to much light through.

He claimed they had better color and better blacks but then went down hill compared to their best LCDs of prior.
