AverTV Capture HD - HDMI Out of Range

Hey guys I really hope I can get help for this, I google searched for four days and could not find a solution.
I bought AverTV Capture HD and received it four days ago, its fantastic. I can run my Xbox 360 through component cables and it is excellent.

http://www.avermedia.com/Product/ProductDetail.aspx?Id=530&device=2

The problem lies with my Xbox 360 and HDMI. Whenever I try it it just displays an "Out of Range" error on the program.

I have tried different progreams, different settings, different hdmi cables and a second Xbox 360 to no avail.

Does anyone know what usually causes this error? I have a horrible feeling there is just one small setting I am overlooking what will fix all this, thanks guys.

I managed to get this to appear under HDMI

It disturbs me that it says DVI instead of HDMI, there is obviously a problem somewhere :-/

One last thing, when using component cables and my xbox 360, when I try play in 720p I get very strange blinking/flashing as seen in the video I made

It seems so far that 1080i works perfect as does 480p and composite (for other consoles).

I am running my PC at 1920x1080 resolution.

i have this too , only solution i found was to use the beta drivers 1.12.*.32
they removed them from their download ....and latest release even does not have the driver for xpx64....

i searched : AVerTV CaptureHD(H727) driver 1.12.64.32 and found a link to download files http://forum.avertv.ru/index.php?s=05968d2f799b80566a1b54fc56b8fb02&showtopic=30864&st=325&p=52497entry52497

may be try the driver for the 727 3d : http://www.avermedia.com/avertv/product/productdetail.aspx?id=499&tab=APDriver
that are having the1.12..32 .

i have the drivers on a other computer so i can not upload right now . with them you need to use search driver on computer and force win7 to use them [ it ll show a box about testing]
i ll check if you need mine or if above works

Thanks for the reply!
I test with some of those downloads and it still doesnt wor for me frown.gif
The same error keeps occuring.

EDIT:
In device manager the card is listed as using the older driver but the media center keeps saying it is the latest driver o.0
So I am not sure if I am doing it correctly.

driver date is 9/15/2010 and version 1.12.64.32
that is what you should read in the panel with tabs of the card

for mediacenter3d , i think they did not updated it for a long time .

by the way with the coming of win8 , they will make new drivers . i will upload the drivers if you tell me what hoster you want

Yep it said that in the device manager part for the card.
The mediacenter 3D said I was using the latest version though. I didnt seem to make any difference frown.gif

Is it possible I have a faulty card?

Any host will do mate, I dont mind, I would much appreciate being able to get the drivers! Thanks

i downloaded the driver file from avermedia , made for the h727 3d , the driver size are the same and the olders too .
to unpack the file , you may use 7zip , i do that so i can provide the inf to the windows installer .

may be you should use the driver file with a fresh windows . avermedia support asked me to use : " the Revo uninstaller http://www.revouninstaller.com/
to force the removal of the previously installed application then re-install . "

before that , if you have an ati with 2 or 3 monitors in eyefinity , you will see that the avermediacenter takes the same "shape" as the screen-eyefinity .... very funny bug they even not tried to solve at support .
i have a nvidia card connected to one monitor so i use this instead of one connected to the ati .
i made an album of screen-captures : http://imageshack.us/g/641/avermediaeyefinitymaxim.jpg/
