TV for Xbox 360

Want to get my son a tv for his Xbox in his room for Xmas. Best buy Insignia 32 in LCD that is 60 MHz 720p. The guy at store said I really need 120 MHz. I am clueless so here for your thoughts.

I'd recommend asking around in the LCD forums - probably a wider range of knowledgeable people there. If I knew much about LCDs, I'd offer to help myself. Best of luck.

Don't listen to anyone at Best Buy because they're trying to get your money, not give you good advice. Insignia is a knock-off brand so you have a higher risk of ending up with a bad unit. I'd stick with Samsung, LG, Vizio, Panasonic, Sony, etc. Brands you know. Then again, a good price might be worth the risk of an off brand.

The Wirecutter has a good couple of recommendations: http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-small-tv-samsung-un32eh4000/

Otherwise, as Skip said, the LCD forums can be a great place to find what might work best for your needs.

Yeah, as far as I know, Insignia is just Best Buy's own brand. If you were looking for a bigger screen, I'd recommend plasma, but at 32", you're out of luck. Happy hunting - I know the forums here helped me a ton when I was researching my TV purchase.
