Vann's is going to close it's doors forever - Page 4

I think part of the problem is that most consumers don't really know anything about consumer electronics. They might see a Bose commercial on TV and just think it's the best thing.I've always been into music and it's presentation, which means I have always wanted to hear it played with a better sound system. Most people don't really give a crap and think an Ipod is the be all and end all of listening to music.

The first time I walked into my local high end audio store and hearing music played on a real(whatever that means now)stereo. Was like seeing Baby Jesus in the manger.

Money, whether you have it or lack it will be the driving factor.I'm not well off,but I know what I wanted when I upgraded my system.People now days are lazy and want to do things the easy way.So they are easily swayed by a pretty tv infomercial.

I'm rambling.

Cheers

BTW I did buy my Jamo's from Vann's. A decent price and service.I'd buy from them again.Auditioning speakers is getting harder and harder for sure.
