Copy to disc with TM-900

Whenever I copy to a DVD disc from my HDC-TM900 I get an error message that the copy has been canceled due to an error. I can eject the disc and it plays fine on my HD DVD player .....but my computer will not play the DVD it just created. It seems to me that some coding that the computer is not getting included on the DVD because of the error that is occurring at the end of the copy to disc process. Has anyone else seen this problem and know of any fixes?? Thanks

What program are you using to play the DVD on your computer?

Try using an application called VLC - http://www.videolan.org/vlc/index.html
VLC is more lenient and should be able to play back the DVD on your PC...

Yes I am making the disc in the AVCHD format. With my previous Panasonic HD camcorder did not have this problem when I recorded in the AVCHD format. Also I am attempting to play the DVD in the very same burner that just copied the DVD in the first place.

The DVD will not play in either Windows media center or HD Writer AE 3.0.

An AVCHD disc although made on a blank DVD is not a DVD.
