Need recommendation, so many choices!

I'm looking to upgrade my home theater sound, and I've already got the satellites (Polk RM8's) and the sub (Polk PSW505). I've been trying to narrow down a receiver, but between all the choices (and problems people have reported) I'm really not sure what to choose. So, I was wondering if you experienced people out there could lend a hand.

My only requirement is Audyssey MultEQ (preferably XT, but regular is OK). Satellites are rated at max 125W. Doesn't have to be 7.1; I'll only be using 5 sats. Video upconversion would be nice as well, but not totally necessary.

Well, if you don't need 3d or internet connectivity, you can pick up a refurbished Marantz 7001 from ac4l for under $400. It's an oldie, but a goodie and mine is still going strong with my Polks.

I'd like to go current, or at least within the past year or two. I couldn't find that model using shopping.google.com. Btw, I've been using this as a guide.

For more info on Denon models, you can review last year's line (XX12) and this year's line (XX13) by clicking on the links in my sig and reviewing the first few posts in each thread. All but the lowest Denon model (1312 and 1513) feature Audyssey MultEQ or MultEQ XT. A max budget is also important.

Max budget for receiver is ideally $350. The AVR-1713 looks good, but that stinks that it doesn't have any component video input. frown.gif Probably should have said that originally. Not a necessity, but I do have a Wii that I'd like to component into, but there are other ways to do it, too.

Ha, I was looking at that not 1 hour ago.

OK, so I'm pretty sold on the AVR-1713. Has anyone had any experience with this as a Factory Refurb? Because this price is great. I know the warranty is only 1 year, so do you think it's still worth it?
