LED vs Plasma vs Glare

I've always owned Plasma tv's but I got a serious glare issue at my location. My current samsung plasma stinks of glare and is unwatchable during the day. I was recommended switching to LED but I can't convince myself to do so. Can you? I'm all about picture quality but gotta include the glare problem in deciding on the replacement tv.

What you "want" - presumably - is a TV with a Matte Finish screen - which is what most (all?) of the LCDs used to have.

Unfortunately, at least from your perspective, is that Matte screens have become distinctly LESS popular, so even if shopping for an LCD you should check the specs first.

CNET has an article that lists current matte screen tvs, and (from memory) it is a fairly short list.

Recall reading the that top LG Plasma for 2012 has a matte screen - might be a good compromise for you.
