They are fairly good speakers for home theater; they have some punch and some bass.
For serious music listening, though, they are not going to sound that great.
I would want something from PSB or KEF myself, in that price range; a much more accurate and refined sound.
Perhaps you might want to consider a pair of PSB Image T6 speakers for the front, and some Image B6 speakers and an Image C5 for the center.
