Anyone here owns two Mitsubishi projectors ?

Will the remote for one of them accidentally turn the other projector on if they are mounted in the same vicinity ?

My concern is with an HD1000U and an HC7900/HC8000

Thanks in advance.

If their RF (radio frequency) they would, if their IR (infra red), depends how close and if the light can bounce to one? If your not sure, you can check to see if their IR with a digital camera. http://www.wikihow.com/Check-if-a-Remote-Control-is-Transmitting-an-Infrared-Signal

Sorry if my original post sounded unclear.

I know for a fact they are both IR and they will both be mounted one under the other pointing at the same screen.

So the question would be best answered by someone who has both or easy access to both of them as it comes down to a simple yes or no.

I know IR can vary between mfrs, as thats the basis of programmable universal remotes, but whether they vary within the same mfr and product line is the question.

Thanks in advance.
